OCI is set to design an automated assembly line to meet a 10X throughput increase for one of the most recognized brands currently at the forefront of the ice cube equipment business.

This increase applies to the latest of their energy efficient models and will demand an adoption of lean methodologies in the design of the line and re-engineering of the assembly process. OCI will use optimization techniques to achieve substantial improvement in throughput by improving scheduling along with incremental improvements in all sub-assembly, planning and support functions.
