OCI has recently been contracted; by a small, privately owned, wholesale electronic components distributor to accurately determine right-sized outbound box sizes for their fast-moving and high volume SKU’s. This distributor is looking to cut down on wasteful spending and hidden costs associated with their final shipments. The distributor also wishes to eliminate the guesswork involved by the packaging operator in determining which corrugated box size is the ‘best-fit’ box size for their shipment.
