Equipment

Value-added service performance depends on ergonomic designs and comfortable workstations, improving worker productivity. OCI has developed efficient, cost-effective solutions for warehouses including lift-tables, assembly and labeling tables, packaging stations, and flexible and collapsible conveyors.

Adequate equipment is an embedded requirement connected to the aisle and storage media selection. Special trucks are required for NA and VNA aisles, and multiple-deep racks. Depending on the weight of the product and the height of the rack, the trucks might also change. Even different warehouse functions may require different equipment: order picking can use waves and order pickers while replenishment functions will require bigger trucks for full-pallet put-away tasks. The result is an increased picking rate.
